Lynn Blanchard
Lynn Blanchard has been in the beauty business since her teens. She began dressing Detroit’s stylish elite from the racks of Claire Pearone, while going to college to study fashion merchandising. Interested in all aspects of beauty, she took a “Makeup for Photography” class and started working for photographers around town. Just doing makeup wasn’t enough, it was hair that struck her with the most passion, so off she went to Cosmetology school and started a career in the best salons in town. “We are students for life.”, says Blanchard, with extensive schools of hair to her name.
“I believe in the philosophy of Vidal Sassoon where hair meets architecture.” She has studied in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and London. Also, with many trips to New York’s Bumble and Bumble University, Lynn has a wealth of knowledge and skill. After 20 years in the business, she still works with her favorite photographer, Michelle Andonian. “It is a joy and a privilege to be in this wonderful business. I have the best if both worlds; a fabulous clientele and the opportunity to beautify them everyday.”
